Rhyperior
#1
Rhyperior can be very useful in the Underused metagame. While it may have low special defense, its regular Defense is great and it has pretty high HP as well. It is really useful on teams that use Sandstorm since that will boost its Special Defense. Its Attack is very high at 140.

Rhyperior is able to function as a decent lead. It is able to perform Stealth Rock and can counter the fairly popular Typlosion leads. Other moves it would utilizxe in this set would be Earthquake for stab and hits quite a few pokemon for supereffective damage, Megahorn to hit Psychic type pokemon as well as Dark and Grass, and Stone Edge since it has a high critical hit ratio. It is not really as important to have Thunderpunch because Water Pokemon will outrun this set and possibly OHKO it if not two hits. This set runs Adamant nature to increase its attack. It also uses Focus Sash when used as a lead just in case your opponent leads with a Water or Grass type Pokemon. Taunt counters the main purpose of this set since you won't be able to set up Stealth Rock. It is easier to destroy than the sweeper version because it doesn't have the Speed.

Adamant Nature
Focus Sash
252 HP, 252 ATK, 6 SPDEF
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Megahorn

It can also be a good sweeper. In order for it to do this job, it is necessary to be able to boost its Speed. A Jolly nature would be recommended for this purpose. It is also evd in Attack and Speed with the remaining to go into HP. It also needs to know the move Rock Polish. This will double your speed allowing you to outrun most pokemon that aren't scarfed. You then have two options. You can give it Swords Dance in an effort to boost its power further, or you can give it 3 offensive moves. Earthquake is highly recommended since its power is very high. ThunderPunch can be good with this set since you will outrun Water Pokemon unless they use Aqua Jet. Megahorn is still a good choice to have so you can counter the weakness of Grass Pokemon. Stone Edge or Brick Break can also be good moves on a speeded up Rhyperior. Life Orb or Muscle Band can be good with this set to increase your power. Aqua Jet ruins this set since they will be striking first. If the opponent is faster and uses Taunt, then it is much easier to defeat. They can also ko you with powerful Water or Grass attacks while you are setting up.
