I am possibly going to make this team.
Torterra Lv. 50
Venasaur Lv. 50
Pikachu Lv. 50
Ursaring Lv 50
Ampharos Lv. 50
Metagross Lv. 50
My friend has most of these pokemon and i am going to try and get them. I have no idea what there moves and natures are but i will try and get those also.

Platinum. I may use this to competitivly battle but first I have to get all of them EV'ed enough to be able to compete.

Yes i do. I am mainly EV'ing the torterra in defense and speed/attack i think. The pikachu is going to be definietly speed and attack. The ursaring will more than likely be replaced with a Rhyperior.

OK, why Pikachu and not Raichu?
And make Torterra's EV's 252 Defense/252 Attack/6 Sp.Defense.

Pikachu should be 252 Speed/130 Attack/128 Sp.Attack

Okay. the only way that i know how to EV is with the Vitamins. Is there an easier way?

Well, certain pokemon you battle will give you different EV's.
Example: A Gyarados will give you 2 points of Attack EV's.
